My God,
I am sorry for my sins with all my heart.

In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good,
I should have been there; I would have been there if I could

I have sinned against you
It’s my fault I let you go, my fault I don’t have you now.

whom I should love above all things.
I know you loved me…I know I loved you.

I firmly intend, with your help,
Your life mattered…it’s gonna change me.

to do penance, to sin no more
living the rest of my life without you is my punishment

and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.
and I know what we had couldn’t be a sin

Our Saviour suffered and died for us.
I know you suffered without me, and now I suffer alone.

In His Name, my God, have mercy.
I have peace when I dream about you…I’ll have mercy when I see you again.
