He was almost late for work….he had slept so good, dreamed so long, that he’d wished he’d been able to stay unconscious for a lot longer.
Nothing much to his day today…nothing after work, as usual, just going home…driving in he thought he might as well take a ride around the place after knocking off work…it was getting dark earlier, around seven, but if he started at six thirty he could ride out thirty minutes, and Merlin, his horse, could find his way home in the dark…air would be cool, probably be a breeze…
A ride after work, then a shower, dinner and a shot of JD ought to get him where he needed to be.
