He had put a deposit on the pony, which was named Lucky.

Driving to work on Monday he decided it was one of the most impulsive things he’d ever done. He was pretty sure he could work on Junior, knew her main concern was money; but he’d worked out a deal to pay a little each month, he figured he could handle it...board would be free at the ranch and he knew Tim would work with him on paying for hay.

He’d work out all the details and put it down on paper so she could see for herself that it wouldn’t cost her anything…she’d come around. And he couldn’t wait to see the look on Ben’s face.

Well, I think once Junior sees how excited Ennis is over this and well it is not often her stoic father is like a little kid on Christmas wanting to do this for his grandson. I'm so excited for them both. Joe
