They moved camp further up the mountain...better grazing land.
Ennis set up the tent this time, and gave Jack a hard time about his harmonica playing...actually made a joke...so Jack knew Ennis was feeling more comfortable around him. Made Jack feel good, he was the one bringing Ennis out of his shell.
It brought out the show-off in Jack...gave Ennis a little taste of his mama's favorite hymn – damned if Ennis didn't join in at the end...on the coffeepot.
He was bringing Ennis out of his shell, and unknowingly, Ennis was bringing a sense of peace to Jack's soul.
