Okay, so I guess we drank a little too much...Ennis drank way more than I did, though...
I was glad, 'cause it meant he didn't notice that I was watchin him the whole time...we was just tellin stories...I mean, he was, mostly...he sure talks a lot more when he's drunk than when he's sober...I liked it, though.
We'd been up there goin on six, seven weeks...had some good times...I wanted to say somethin but knew I couldn't...it was nothin he'd wanna hear.
Wondered if I'd ever be able to say anything...what would I say, anyway?
