Wednesday was pretty bad. He snapped at Tim for no reason he could voice, made it clear he didn’t want to be around anyone...he even yelled at Chief, who spent the rest of the day out of the line of fire.

Finally, after raising his voice to one of the men, Tim shot back – told him to go home, get drunk, get laid, whatever...but not to come back until he could be civil.

So he saddled Merlin and rode out, knowing it would be dark in an hour...knowing it would take a lot longer than that before he felt better.

mazaher, loved the reference to old joke,

it's the dark ass time of year, and i wish somebody would send me out on a horse. i'm cranky to people i love and trust, and so constrained to be civil to others, it's tiresome. nice to come here for a visit with you all. thanks, mb.
