Ennis was nothing if not practical.

Only one side to a story, in his opinion. Lived and learned his whole life like that.

Until 1963.

Until that summer.

Until Jack.

Then everything was different...everything changed...everything he thought he knew was gone.

He was due to marry Alma. Wife. Kids. That’s what was next.

So what was this?

This didn’t fit in the plan at all.

The very first time the two came together in his mind, he tried to work it out...he was marrying Alma, but what was this thing with Jack?

Then Jack sang that Jesus song...

Alma who?

thanks, Brian. I'm pretty sure Alma never even entered his mind the whole summer they were up there....it was only Jack.
